“Sing Wearing the Sky”

In Matthew’s first season with Kantorei the group embarked upon an adventure recording an entire album of music by Jake Runestad. This culminated in an eleven track album recorded in one weekend at St. John’s Cathedral.
“Sunken Cities”

Matthew’s first recording project upon moving to Denver was recording for his friend and former colleague Ryan Kargoll. Matthew was brought on to be featured as a vocalist for three tracks and featured on saxophone for one more track on the album.
“All That We Could Do”

Matthew’s first instrumental recording while still a student at Doane College. High School and college friend, Jens Lehman, brought Matthew on to record trombone backing for two tracks on the album.“May” and “The Dreamer.”
“Hymns From First Plymouth”

Matthew’s first professional singing job was as a choral scholar for 1st Plymouth Church. He was hired in for the final day of hymn recording to add extra consonants.
